Imad is about to turn 7. He will celebrate his birthday on Eid Day 17/11/10. We wish him well and trust he will have a good one Insha-Allah. His favourite cricketers are Jacque Kallis and J P Duminy. His favourite food is pizza and he is the club tuckshops No1 customer. Whenever coach or parent looks for him he is always to be found in the tuckshop, either eating or placing an order. He orders his goodies 1 week in advance. He is an extremely jolly chap with not one shy hair on him. He is a team person and enjoys his cricket tremedously.

Shuaib is also a keen F1 fan. His favourite driver is Sebatian Vettel (Red Bull Racing). Other than the cricket field his other favourite place is the beach and reckons Cape Town has the best beaches. With summer already here he is looking forward to the school holidays and regular visits to the beach. Shuaib has a younger brother, Omar, who also plays cricket.

He gets on extremely well with his fellow teammates and always wants to do his best. He more importantly enjoys his involvent. He also loves computer games and regularly beats his dad at FIFA 10 (because his dad is a Manchester United fan).

La'eeq is a big fan of the Proteas and says Hashiem Amla is the worlds greatest batsman and a true role model. La'eeq loves rugby as well and is an extremely dedicated sportsman. He starts to practice 2 hrs before his other teammates and believes he will one day reap the benefits of his hard work. He is already practising with the hard ball and is showing very good techniques and skill for one his age. He is a very pleasant boy and very receptive and keen to learn about the techniques necessary to be a good sportman. We wish him well.

Raeez is an extremely skillful cricketer. He is well focussed when batting, bowling or fielding and has a good knowlege and depth about the game. At this stage he is just focussing on enjoying his sports and loves both cricket and soccer. He plays soccer for Thornhill United. He loves all the Protea players and is also a keen Manchester United fan. He is a healthy eater, especially Aunty Nadiema's pasta is the best he says, and drinks nothing but water as he believes there is nothing healthier. He loves and is very knowlegable about the outdoors, camping, fishing etc.

Ta'ha have three older brothers, Yaseen (8) and Taseen (6) who already play cricket and Shaheer (3) who will start his cricket career in two years time. Ta'ha says his favourite team is e..e.e..ee..e.e., and his favourite player is b.b.bbbb..bb..bb..b.

He has been given the opportunity to play with the more experienced boys in the Intermediate Category and copes extremely well. For now, just enjoy your cricket. This youngster will one day be a seriously talented cricketer.

A very well rounded individual. Fawaaz is with the program for almost three years. A consistent performer and extremely pleasant young boy.
He has previously played in the Advanced Category proving to be quite able but unfortunately all his teammates has graduated to hardball cricket, having reached the elegible age. Since we are now rebuilding our next advanced team, Fawaaz is one of the senior players in the Intermediate Category and looking forward to tougher competition.

Rushdi says he would like to develop as a bowler. His favourite bowler is Dale Steyn. He definitely has the cricket blood flowing in him. He is the grandson of Rushdi Magiet, a respected ambasodor to the game through his achievements on the field and also as a respected cricket administrator. We also owe a lot to Rushdi Magiet (Snr) for the role he played in developing Mini Cricket at its introduction stage and spreading it and making it accessible to the many youth across the Western Cape.
