The Green Point Track is situated next to the new Cape Town Stadium.
As announced earlier, Friday 24 March 2011 is the last day that I will be in attendance for the club. I have also earlier indicated that I will in all likelihood stay involved in the mini cricket program but will sought an alternative structure / club from where to continue to develop the program. I have to the contrary chosen to move away from cricket completely as my current sport involvement does not allow me the time to do so.
My involvement with the development structures over the years has always been challenging but the successes and many acquaintances and friends that I have made will remain a positive part of my life forever.
I wish to emphasise again that Primrose Mini Cricket structure is in an extremely healthy state and should be a pleasure for anyone accepting the challenge to manage and convene the structure. I appeal to the parents and managers to accept the challenge and not let this structure disintegrate.
I wish everyone, especially our young cricketers, of whom I have only the fondest of memories, every cricketing success and every success in all their future endeavours.
